As early as 1888, guests came to the Gnollhof for the view, the cuisine, and of course, the people. To this day, nothing has changed. In our family-run hotel in Gufidaun, chef Peter Verginer adds his personal touch to the homemade dishes, while his sister, Margit, and their experienced staff make a significant contribution to the atmosphere. Warm and personal to the last.

Pale greens and lily-white blossoms. Lilac hues and lemon yellow. You have rarely been so close to nature as in our hotel in Gufidaun. The Gnollhof lies peacefully secluded on a plateau at the edge of the forest, 1,160m above sea level. In the midst of meadows and a unique panorama, you can find our lovingly managed hotel near Brixen. The surroundings: close to nature, relaxing. Take a deep breath and feel how beneficially relaxing every moment is. Or, go for a hike and discover the diverse South Tyrolean landscape.

Hints of pear and peach. Mineral freshness and balanced acidity. The white wines from the Eisack Valley know how to impress: Sylvaner, Kerner, Riesling, Gewürztraminer. Their terrain is the steep vineyards in the valley, the most northern in Italy, like those of the Taschlerhof vineyard in Brixen. Our vintner, Peter Wachtler, is a member of the family, his excellent wines, which have been awarded by renowned guides, are served here.
